You are not a winner yet. The odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. All prizes will be awarded assuming receipt of sufficient eligible entries. The sponsor of the sweepstakes is The Golfer ("Sponsor").

To enter on line, go to The Golfer homepage (http://www.thegolfermag.com/) (the "Web Site"), and fully complete and submit the registration form as instructed. Complete the information requested in the information fields [full name, complete address (no P.O. Boxes), birth date, daytime phone number including area code, and email address]. When your entry is complete, click on the area marked "Submit Entry" (once submitted entry cannot be deleted, canceled, or modified).

Sweepstakes begins May 16, 2005 and ends on August 1, 2005 at 11:59pm EST (the "Promotion Period"). Winner will be selected by a random drawing to be held on or near August 4, 2005. Enter as often as you like during the Promotion Period, but one entry per email address per person per day and only entries submitted electronically to the Web Site in accordance with these rules will be eligible entries. All eligible entries received during the Promotion Period will be eligible for a chance to win the prize. Entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entries that are mechanically reproduced, contain inaccurate information, do not fully comply with these rules or that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by Sponsor, in whole or in part, due to computer, human or technical error of any kind are not eligible.

The random drawing and awarding of all prizes will be conducted under the supervision of Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters pertaining to this sweepstakes. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judging organization. Sponsor will randomly select a winner on or near August 4, 2005. Winner will be notified by mail at the mailing address on that winnerís entry and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Publicity and Liability within fourteen (14) days of notification. Each winner's guest must be at least 21 years old at time of travel and will also be required to sign and return a Release of Liability/Publicity prior to travel. In the event of noncompliance, if a winner cannot be reached at the address on that winnerís entry, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable for whatever reason beyond the control of Sponsor, that prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. No substitution of any prizes will be offered. No prize transfer permitted. If a prize is unavailable, Sponsor reserves the sole right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Limit one prize per person. All taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.  The random drawing is under the supervision of Sponsor, whose decisions are binding and final in all respects.

Any prize or prize notification returned to Sponsor as undeliverable may result in the forfeit of that prize. By acceptance of a prize, winner consents to the use of their name, photograph or other likeness, testimonials and other biographical information for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to, advertising, trade and/or promotion on behalf of Sponsor, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Submission of entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to use entrant's email address and other submitted information for purposes of marketing and promotion subject to Sponsorís privacy policies unless prohibited by law. All entries become property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

CONSUMER DISCLOSURE

The approximate total retail value of the prize is $2700 depending on point of departure. Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation for two from a major commercial airport near winner's home to a location determined by Sponsor, two nights lodging (standard accommodations, double occupancy), green fees for one 18-hole round of golf for two players and $500 cash. Winners who live within a 200-mile radius of hotel designated by Sponsor will not receive the air-transportation portion of the prize. Winner will be responsible for all gratuities, meals, ground transportation, and any other incidental costs or expenses not identified in these rules. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. No transfer or substitution of prize except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Prize values are in U.S. currency. Substitution of a prize of equal or greater value (or a cash equivalent) will be awarded in case of prize unavailability. All prizes will be awarded within 2 months of receipt of valid and executed winnerís affidavit or prize confirmation. However, any portion of the prize not accepted by the winner will be forfeited. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Trip must be taken on dates specified by Sponsor. If winner and guest cannot travel on designated dates determined by Sponsor, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Trip must be completed by October 1, 2005. Trip requires advance reservations. Travel dates are subject to availability; blackout dates and restrictions apply. All travel arrangements must be made through a travel agent selected by Sponsor.

Sponsor, and their parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies, shall not have any obligation or responsibility with regard to (i) entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules; (ii) entries, prize claims or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer, human or technical error of any kind; (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (iv) any inability of the winner to accept the prize for any reason; (v) if a prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellation, delays or interruptions due to Acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism or weather; or (vi) any damages or losses of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from awarding, acceptance, possession, use, misuse, loss or misdirection of any prize or resulting from participating in this promotion or any promotion or prize related activities. Sponsor in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of this promotion or otherwise violating these rules. If Sponsor determine, in their respective discretion, that technical difficulties or unforeseen events outside their control compromise the integrity or viability of the promotion, Sponsor reserve the right to void the entries at issue, modify the promotion and/or terminate the relevant portion of the promotion.
